This is a one-day programme designed for parents and guardians. One designed to equip parents and guardians with skills to become more effective at building a solid foundation for their child or children’s academic excellence.
Academic excellence is often expected from our children but there is much parents can do to help their children be their best.

Shola Alabi -Teacher| Parent| Author Shola has over 15 years’ experience of working with children and supporting their parents. Shola remains an advocate and adviser for parents, trainee teachers and children. She has been featured in various news outlets and has brought her experience to organisations like the University of East London as a teacher training Specialist Lecturer and City Chapel where she leads the Children’s Department. Her book ‘Parents Understand Your Child‘ has been described as Informative, Useful, Comprehensive and A Must-Have Parenting Book, now available on Amazon
*Dr Orode Aniejurengho – Scientist| Tutor Orode has firsthand experience of being raised to love learning. This has been vital in her academic and personal life. Currently, a PhD in Pharmacy and Biomolecular Science and published scientific author. She will share her story of steps taken by her parents which set her up to achieve the highest degree an individual can earn in a field. She has shared bits of her story across the UK as a mentor with Mosaic Charity and STEM Associate with the aim of raising career aspirations of students and helping parents to identify how they can help their own children fulfil their dreams and goals. She serves as a volunteer Science teacher at her church’s free tuition class – The Sound Mind School
